A B&B is a traditional Blackpool Bed and Breakfast re-imagined by artists for the 21st Century. Its central mission is to support arts, culture, training and development opportunities for local communities and creatives whilst acting as a hotel for staying guests.
A B&B is a community interest company and a project in progress. As Arts Commissioner, I am currently developing commissions with local and national artists in partnership with Leftcoast, The Blackpool Museum Project, Unlimited, Grundy Gallery, Lightpool, Open Eye, Live Art Development Agency, Fierce Festival and Live Collision.
The hotel will open in August 2019.
